Welcome to Back to Church Sunday! If you don't know, Back To Church Sunday is a annual nationwide outreach event held on the third Sunday of September to encourage people to visit or return to you local church. This Sunday, pastoral elder Jadae Fox takes a moment out of our Matthew sermon series to dive into Hebrews. He talks about how we all need the church and the church needs us. Want to know more? Check out the video links and find out what he is talking about.
This week, pastoral elder Matt Godsil continues our journey in Matthew, speaking about Matthew 4:1-11. We would like to thank Matt Godil for his hard work, dedication, and love the church family as he steps down from being a pastoral elder. His leadership and caring heart will be missed at Grace Fellowship.
This week, pastoral elder Eric Byrom is looking at Matthew 3:13-17. As you read this passage, consider looking are Isaiah 42:1 and Psalm 2:7 as well. You should consider the types that are represented in this passage from the Old Testament (Water, Doves, etc.). You should realize that this passage really opens up a lot of the promises from the Old Testament. Have fun digging into the cross references in your Bibles!
This Sunday is a fifth Sunday in a month, so GFC holds a Celebration Sunday. It is an extended time of worship music, prayer, and celebrating what the Lord has done in our lives. Please join in and praise Jesus!
This week, pastoral elder Eric Byrom starts our new series in Matthew. We will be starting in Matthew 3:1-12. In this passage we are challenged to, like John the Baptist, prepare the way of the Lord.
