This week, pastoral elder Robert Key talked about who Jesus is and how He functioned in His ministry here on earth so that we can understand how we can function in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. After listening, reflect with the following questions:

1. Who was Jesus?
2. How much of Jesus divinity (Godness) did He call upon in His earthly ministry?
3. Why do we tend to elevate Biblical characters who have been used in miraculous ministry to a higher category of person than ourselves, and at the same time when we hear of contemporary people who have been used in the miraculous we immediately suspect them of exaggeration or of being a shyster?
4. How like us was Jesus in His humanity?
5. How was Jesus able to do such mighty works?
6. How does pursuing a closer relationship with the Father put us in a place where we are more apt to be able to function in the gifts of the Holy Spirit?
