Questions for Discussion

  • What excuse do Christians who have been given the Holy Spirit have for living according to the world’s values?  How do we stop doing this?
  • What are some ways Christians still act like spiritual babies rather than living maturely and walking in the Spirit?
  • Some tend to exaggerate the status and importance of Christian ministers and leaders, while others undervalue them and pay them scant respect.  Which is more harmful for the church and for its leaders?
  • How can Christians be about building into the church and its people in ways that will last?  What are things they are doing that will burn?
  • In what ways might a Christian be in danger of damaging or destroying other believers (the church) and thus destroying himself/herself?
  • How can Christians move past a “know it all” attitude that blocks them from growing in true knowledge and wisdom?
