• Be what you are in Christ by seeking things above! (v. 1-4)
• Be what you are in Christ by putting to death your earthy side! (v. 5-11)
• Be what you are in Christ by putting on the character of Christ! (v. 12-14)

Questions for Discussion

1. How is understanding who you are in Christ essential to being what you are in Christ?
2. What does it look like to focus upon things above?  How does this provide the power to be transformed?
3. Why is it important to put off these sexual and social sin habits that the world does in order to grow in the character of Christ?  What does that look like for you to do that this week?
4. How might you replace the old stuff by putting on the new stuff?  How does one grow in putting on the character of Christ?  What does this look like for you?
5. What is one thing God wants you to remember, change or do in response to what you heard today?
