Sermon Series:
This week, pastoral elder Eric Byrom continues our journey through 1 Peter. Today's passage transitions us from describing our glorious salvation in Jesus Christ to now showing us how that is going to affect how we live life. Please take some time to slowly and reflectively read through the passage and identify the imperative verbs that Peter is using.
Sermon Passage: 1 Peter 1:13-21

Questions for Study/Discussion
- What are the two descriptors of how to set our hope fully on grace? How do you display those in your life?
- How is the holiness to which Peter is calling us different than an Old Testament type of holiness? What has been your view of holiness in the past? How does this passage help you to view it differently?
- How do you hold in tension the idea of calling God Father yet remembering He is judge? What does a healthy fear of God look like in a believer’s life?
- What is one thing God is calling you to do, remember or change in response to what you have heard today?
