• Have you ever had anything in your life that you thought thad no value that you later learned was quite valuable? How does that relate to how our salvation that brings suffering and persecution is still of great eternal and present value?
• Have you looked at the Old Testament as a big arrow point towards Christ? How does doing that change how you read the Old Testament?
• How does knowing that Christ suffered before He was glorified help you in the midst of your suffering to have hope and see its value?
• How does knowing the pormises of the gospel help us to go through persecutions with the right attitude and perseverance? In what ways have you seen this to be true for you?
• What is one thing that God wants you to do, remember or change in response to what you have heard and discussed today?
