1. Pay much closer attention to this great salvation in order to not drift away from it!
2. Pay much closer attention to this great salvation in order to not neglect it!
3. Pay much closer attention to this great salvation  because it has a reliable foundation!

    a. It was said by Jesus himself.
    b. It was verified by the writers of scripture.
    c. It was bore witness to by God himself- Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
        1. Through signs, wonders and various miracles.
        2. Through gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed as God willed it.

Questions for Discussion

1. What does it look like to drift away from the gospel message?
2. What does it look like to neglect the gospel message?  How is this different from drifting?
3. Why is this so dangerous?
4. Have you ever thought of the three reliable foundations upon which the gospel is validated and proved?  Which of these is most meaningful to you right now?
5. What is one thing that God wants you to do, remember or change in response to what you heard today?
