Take care how your life affects others!

1. Take care how your life affects others because your purpose is in God through Christ. (v. 6)
2. Take care how your life affects others because your belonging is through Christ and not through anything else. (v. 11)
3. Take care how your life affects others because your freedom is best seen in serving others not yourself. (v. 13)

Questions

• What has God been doing in you and through you this past week?
• In what ways does your purpose in life affect how you live?  How might a stronger sense of our purpose being for God through Christ affect our lives this week?
• What are things you are tempted to find your belonging in other than Christ?  Why do you think that finding your belonging in things other than in Christ can be a stumbling block both to yourself and to others? Can you think of any real-life examples of this from your experiences?
• In what ways have you seen Christian freedom resulting in a stumbling block to others?  How might we not restrict other’s freedom unnecessarily but also be aware of how our freedom can be dangerous both to ourselves and others?
• What is one thing God wants you to remember, do or change in response to what you heard today?
