Call: What does a disciple look like?
Passage: Mark 9:30-50
- A disciple serves those who can give nothing in return (v. 33-37)
- A disciple supports their fellow workers (v. 38-41)
- A disciple deals seriously with their own sin (v.42-50)

- Is the human desire to be great inherently wrong? What authentic need are we trying to meet? (Although often wrongly)
- Where in your own life has your desire for greatness highlighted a need for change? What would be a first step?
- Who would God have you / us reach out to in response to this passage?
- What tends to cause division in the church?
- What can we do to counter Jealousy, pride, and cliquishness in the church?
- What are some practical ways we can encourage and support other believers?
- In what ways does our sin cause young believers to sin?
- According to this passage what do we need to do about it?
- Is there an area in your life that God is prompting you “cut off”? Will you let your Circle group pray for you?
