These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. - John 15:11
Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” - Nehemiah 8:10
“Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. - Luke 2:10

1. As a fruit of the Holy Spirit JOY is a characteristic of the Christian life. As such we should expect that Jesus is a joyful man. What examples of this can you think of?
2. Jesus’ greatest sense of Joy comes from his relationship with the father and what His father thinks of Him. Why is this such good news for the believer?
3. In what ways do we (the believer) have and maintain that same Joy?
4. What is the difference between real and fake joy?
5. What are some of the things that get in the way of walking in the Joy of the Lord?
6. What are some ways we can be intentional to let God’s Joy flow through us to others?
7. If you are struggling to find the Joy of the Lord… Be bold and ask for encouragement and prayer.
