3. Remember God’s choice depends on His grace and not human exertion or will! (v. 14-18)

Questions

1. Have you ever experienced being ‘picked’ or ‘not picked’ for something?  How did that make you feel?
2. How does the doctrine of predestination and election hit you?  What is the hardest aspect of it and what is the easiest aspect of it?
3. If we look at verses 16 and 18 how do these shed light on why this doctrine is important?
4. How do we as humans sometimes distort this doctrine or take it to extremes God did not intend?
5. Have you ever felt the question posed by verse 14?  Do verses 15-18 answer that question for you?
6. What is one aspect of what you heard or read today that God wants you to act upon?  How will that change how you live this week?
