Sermon Series:
This week, Presiding Elder Eric Byrom resumes our walk through the Book of Romans, concentrating on Romans 3:1-31. Listen for these following points:
- Boast in God’s grace not in your works! (v. 1-20)
- Boast in God’s grace for you through Christ! (v.21-26)
- Boast in God’s grace available to everyone! (v. 27-31)
After listinging, please pause and reflect on the passage and this message with following questions:
- How real has God been this week to your heart?
- How clear and vivid is your assurance and certainty of God’s forgiveness and fatherly love? To what degree is that real to you right now?
- Are you having any particular season of delight in God? How do you sense His presence in your life and giving you His love?
- How have you been finding Scripture to be alive and active? How does Scripture feel like its coming at you and searching you? Which Biblical promises are you finding to be extremely precious and encouraging?
- In what ways are you finding that God’s challenging you or calling you to something through Scripture?
- How are you finding God’s grace more glorious and moving now than you have in the past? In what ways are you conscious of a growing sense of the evil of your heart and in response a growing dependence on and grasp of the preciousness of the mercy of God?
