- Be self-controlled and alert in order to bring glory to God in your love for other believers! (v. 8-9)
- Be self-controlled and alert in order to bring glory to God through your good service to other believers! (v.10-11)

- Is the focus of your life bringing glory to God? What does this look like practically?
- How does self-control and being alert affect your prayers for the good? How has this worked out in your life?
- What does it look like to love other believers earnestly? Does your love for other believers “cover a multitude of sins”? What do you think this means?
- In your service of word and deed, do you do it as if God was speaking and through God’s strength? What does this look like in real life?
- What is one thing that God wants you to do, remember or change as a result of what you have heard this morning?
